In business since 1907, The Green Mill is Chicago’s most historic jazz venue. Set in a prohibition-era speakeasy atmosphere where local up and comers along with national acts perform nightly. Every Sunday, the Green Mill hosts the Uptown Poetry Slam, hosted by the father of slam poetry Marc Smith.
