The Wrigley Building was designed by the architectural firm of Graham, Anderson, Probst and White using the shape of the Giralda Tower of Seville’s Cathedral combined with French Renaissance details. Built for chewing gum magnate Willam Wrigley between 1920 and 1924, the structure was the first major office building North of the Chicago River as well as the city’s firsdt air-conditioned office building.
